REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

DENTAL ASSISTANT TRAINING PROGRAM (In-Office)

No Experience Great Attitude Required

We currently have an opening for a part-time/full-time position at our clinic. Experience in dental or health care is an asset however not a requirement.

If you do not have prior dental experience this position will begin with a training reception period with the goal of transitioning the individual into clinical treatment as online training modules through Vancouver Community College are completed. (This training will be sponsored by the clinic.)

It is important that all individuals that apply be interested in the clinical aspect of dentistry as well as administrative duties. The clinical aspect of the position will begin with a radiation module that will result in licensure through the CDSBC (College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia) to take dental x-rays. The initial clinical training will focus on sterilization, clinical note taking, treatment room preparation and eventually treatment as training progresses.

Your exact schedule will vary initially but will be between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The position will likely start as 3 days per week and progress to 4/5 as training is completed.

Starting wages are typically between $20-30/hr depending on experience, motivation and skill level.
